Description

4LEAF, Inc. is consulting firm for municipal government agencies in California and multiple other states nationwide. 4LEAF is seeking a Permit Technician (Trainee) for the Bay Area. Training is paid and will take place in our HQ office in Pleasanton. 

KEY DUTIES:

• Perform a wide variety of paraprofessional, technical and clerical duties to support the permitting process.
• Review, accept, track, and assist in various aspects of the permitting process.
• Provide outstanding customer service to municipal government customers and the general public. 
• Work effectively across a variety of communication channels: in-person, phone, email, etc.
• Calculate, collect, receipt and document fees associated with development project applications.
• Assist with clerical functions (i.e. answering phones and filing/maintenance of electronic files)
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with modern office practices and procedures.
• Proficient use in Microsoft computer software applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 
• Basic administrative duties and records management practices. 
• Familiarity with building plans and related terminology desirable, but not required.

 4LEAF anticipates paying between $25-31/hr for this position

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm 
• On-site, in Pleasanton, CA
