4DV Analytics has an immediate opening for an Automation Test Engineer to join our team in the development and delivery of data mining and analysis applications for our customers in commercial and intelligence-related industries. As a member of the 4DV Analytics team you will be exposed to a wide range of interesting data science applications, and be involved in the definition, development, and delivery of systems that solve our customer’s most challenging problems.

As a Test Engineer you will define, implement and maintain an automated testing capability that will be used to functionally test and validate software being delivered to our customers. You will be involved in all phases of the testing process:

• Define the test approach
• Define and script functional test scenarios
• Evaluate and report on testing results
• Identify bugs and areas for improvement
• Assist with diagnostic analysis of potential issues; functional and data

This position is located in our Ashburn, Virginia office.
The contract associated with this job requires that all applicants must be a US Citizen residing within the US. Green Card holders cannot be considered for this position.
Required:

• Experience defining test scenarios, test cases and test data from requirements
• Experience performing manual and/or automated software testing
• Experience developing, writing automation scripts with Cypress or Selenium
• Experience with JavaScript and CSS
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• 2 years or more of relevant work experience
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• US Citizenship Required

Preferred (Not Required but a plus):

• Familiar with Geospatial Information System (GIS) programming
• Familiar with open-source testing tools
• Familiar with Java programming language
• Familiar with database testing and ETL
• Familiar with SQL scripts, creating test data and validating test result
