Duties include the basic understanding of the methods and procedures used to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. Also to diagnose malfunctions or failures and make adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts or components. Your challenges: Understand the basics requirements of how to perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components. Aid in conducting operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Support troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls. Understand how completed work follows FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications. Your boarding pass: Minimum of four (4) years of aviation maintenance experience. Some experience may be substituted for education normally acquired in the attainment of an A&P certificate. Current FAA A&P license. Helicopter maintenance experience preferred but NOT required.
