Framer / Carpenter job description :

Must have experience in general construction and framing / carpentry.

Responsibilities :

• Frame walls, roofs, and floors using wood or metal studs
• Install roofing (shingles / metal)
• Install various types of siding
• Install windows, doors, and other fixtures
• Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
• Assemble and secure materials using nails, screws, or adhesives
• Ensure that all work meets building codes and regulations

Skills :

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Experience in Framing, and remodeling
• Expertise in wood framing
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for construction purposes
• Understanding of concrete / masonry techniques for building structures
• Knowledge of different types of siding installation methods
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
