PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Shop Tech position supports the branch, and client, in all service projects and repair of industrial equipment needs. This position ensures that all rental equipment repair and service project needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Must be mechanically inclined with mechanical & electrical background and knowledge of small to large equipment.
• Must have 2 – 5 years’ experience working as a service technician in the industrial equipment industry including - dirt / aerial / wheeled & track units.
• Must have your own tools
• Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Performs maintenance and repairs of all industrial equipment in the shop
• Inspects and tests all equipment to ensure safe operation prior to customer delivery
• Act as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the branch, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment maintenance and repair
• Trouble shoot all rental equipment for most efficient way to get equipment back online
• Continuous growth of knowledge for all Company products, inventory, and delivery capabilities
• Load and unload trucks, working with management to maintain an accurate inventory
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management
