Overview:
We are seeking a talented Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, excellent time management skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Duties:
1. Planning and organizing for family friendly events: Coordinate logistics for events, including scheduling, location scouting, and obtaining necessary permits.

2. Menu planning: Develop a menu of ice cream offerings suitable for various events and demographics.
3. Vendor coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients, supplies, and equipment

4. Marketing and promotion: Develop marketing strategies to promote events and attract customers, including social media campaigns, flyers, and partnerships with local businesses.

5. Customer service: Provide excellent customer service at events, addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

6. Financial management: Budgeting for events, tracking expenses, and ensuring profitability.
7. Event execution: Oversee the set-up operation, and clean-up of events ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to plan
8. Team management: Supervise staff members, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

Overall, the job involves wearing many hats and being able to adapt to different situations while ensuring that events are successful and profitable for the ice cream truck start-up.

Experience:
- Previous experience in event planning or related fields such as restaurant management, hotel operations, or banquet services
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in events management software and tools
- Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and vendors

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and organization are key. This is a commission based job.
