Job Posting: Cath Lab Technologist
$20,000 Sign-on Bonus - Comes with a 3-year commitment. Minimum 1-year Cath Lab experience required to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
Up to $10,000 in Relocation Assistance Available: Comes with a 2-year work requirement (paid out within 30 days of submission of receipts). If both sign-on and relocation assistance are received, total commitment would be for 3 years.
Salary: Based on years of experience. Range starts from 0 years up to a maximum of 29/30 years.
Shift/Weekend Rotation: Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts from 7am – 3:30pm.
Call Schedule: Minimum of 8 shifts/month, including 1-2 weekends/month.
Volume/Caseload: 30 scheduled cases per week.
Types of Procedures: TCAR, AAA, Peripheral Vascular, Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Right and Left Heart Cath, STEMI, and Stroke.
Shift Differentials: Pay is based on the majority of hours worked.
Evening Shift (3pm – 11:30pm): 8%
Night Shift (11:00pm – 7:30am): 11%
No Weekend Differential
Job DescriptionThe Cath Lab Technologist works in the cardiovascular catheterization laboratory, operating radiographic fluoroscopic equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, technologists, and nurses, maintaining a customer-friendly environment, and participating in call rotation with variable shift scheduling. Compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards is required.
RequirementsMinimum RequirementsOne of the following certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least one year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory
At least one year of experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving
Proficiency in X-ray, Monitoring, and Scrubbing
Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of hire (training provided if necessary)
