We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our organization's assets, employees, and visitors. Must work on site for 2 days a week and 3 days remote.

```Duties```
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats
- Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious behavior or incidents
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend necessary improvements
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Develop and implement incident response plans to effectively address security incidents
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices
- Provide training and guidance to employees on security protocols and best practices

```Skills```
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating security tasks
- Experience with network management tools and technologies
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and procedures
- Knowledge of openSUSE Linux operating system for securing network infrastructure
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security
- Understanding of IP networking concepts and protocols
- Proficiency in shell scripting for automating routine tasks
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure security best practices
- Experience working in an Agile environment
