The Impact Youll Make in this Role

As a Logistics Transportation Coordinator you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by :

Coordinate transportation of semi-finished and finished goods; determining how loads will be sent and allocating loads to specific orders.

Facilitating movement of inbound / outbound containers.

• Coordinate, process, and maintain transportation documentation with attention to detail on record accuracy; creating bills of lading, pick lists, and other reports.
• Research, resolve, and provide feedback on shipping discprancies to focus on customer satisfaction and order accuracy.
• Provide customer service through order actions, communication, and responding to special requests such as expedited orders, order updates, and special reports.
• Willingness to cross-train and to be on-call (interest question)

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :

• High school diploma / GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of supply chain, logistics, and / or warehouse in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

• Minimum of two (2) combined years of experience with professional experience and / or practices and techniques within a functional discipline such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory / materials control, import / export, etc.
• Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and influence changes with a variety of plant employees, management team members, external corporate team members, and customers.
• Must be self-motivated, have strong time management skills and proven track record as a team player.
• Detail oriented
• SAP experience
• Aptitude for systems

Travel : May include up to 10% domestic travel

Relocation Assistance : May be authorized
