3M is seeking an Electrician located in Little Rock, AR. This position is a FULL-TIME position.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

* Support manufacturing operations in electrical controls, programming, software, and application support to automation, robotics, vision, motion control, PLC and SCADA systems

* Identify, recommend, and implement ideas in manufacturing area of responsibility to improve;

* Product cost, service, and quality

* Process safety and health performance with reduction of overall risk to the factory

* Environmental performance with emphasis on waste reduction

* Equipment reliability.

* Lead and implement improvement projects.

Basic:

* Minimum 2 (two) years of industrial electrical, controls, vision and/or automation experience or, in lieu of experience, a technical diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Industrial Electricity/Controls from an accredited institution.

Desired:

* Journeyman Electrician.

* Experience in controls and automation systems design

* Effective "Hands On" techniques

* Ability to analyze, problem solve and implement solutions.

* Works well on cross-functional teams in a continuous improvement (LEAN) environment.

* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
