What We Are Looking For

3D Systems is looking for an experienced treasury candidate to join our team and help build out our treasury and risk management functions. Reporting to the Vice President, Treasurer and Investor Relations, the candidate will have experience working at a multi-national, publicly traded company in a centralized treasury function. Specific risk management and treasury experience will include global insurance policy management, global treasury operations, including managing cash positions, bank account and bank system management, cash forecasting, and an understanding of treasury workstation/ERP’s. The candidate will also have familiarity with foreign exchange, budgeting, and intercompany loans. This position will have the opportunity to exhibit leadership in process improvements specifically within Treasury as well as collaborating with colleagues in accounting, FP&A, tax, and the business to enhance working capital. This position will be a key role in building a world-class Treasury organization and allow you to actually build something rather than simply transition into an existing and staid process.

What You Will Do

  • Create and implement centralized treasury operations structure
  • Recommend and establish global bank reporting platform
  • Review existing treasury and bank systems, recommend enhancements to provide increased visibility, control, and standardization
  • Improve and document treasury policies and procedures while adhering to and enhancing internal controls
  • Work with relationship banks to coordinate account openings, closures and changes in bank services globally
  • Administer intercompany loan portfolio
  • Global administrator on bank/treasury systems
  • Analyze and convert treasury activities of newly acquired entities
  • Coordinate merchant service providers and services
  • Review contract language related to insurance, limitation of liability and indemnification
  • Assist with obtaining and issuing certificates of insurance to vendors
  • Pay all insurance and claim invoices
  • Gather internal data for the renewal process
  • Meet with broker to review insurance proposals and renewal strategies
  • Secure manager approval of insurance programs before proceeding to coverage binding

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance, required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 5-7 years of general business experience, including experience in international treasury, required.
  • Insurance/Risk Management experience, preferred.
  • Certified Treasury Professional, preferred.
  • MBA a plus
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow-through with goals and objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
  • Take charge individual with lots of energy and clear sense of urgency.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker, decisive, experienced in and capable of leading change
