CAREGIVER
*** Urgent Hiring*** We have multiple openings for caregiver positions in South Bay areas ( Bonita, Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, and National City, etc). Must be COVID vaccinated.
A respite caregiver provides a break for primary caregivers of people who need continuous care or monitoring. We serve individuals ages 3 years and above.
Role and Responsibilities:
Assisting with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, feeding, dressing, changing the diaper, lite meal preparation, etc. Assist customers to lead independent lives and participate in and contribute to the community. Find creative and fun ways to help customers learn meaningful skills and provide them with information to make the best choices for themselves. Supports customers to exercise their rights and responsibilities. Deescalate behavior outbursts. Provide the family and 365 agency support with other tasks if necessary.
Work as little as 4 hrs. a week or as much as 40 hours a week. You pick your own schedule.
Minimum qualification
Must be able to speak and write English
1 year of caregiving experience (Preferred)
Authorized to work in the United States of America (Required)
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Preferred)
Must be willing to work with people with disabilities (Required)
Current CPR and First aid (Required) - Will pay for training
Live scan check (Required)
