Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor/Supervisor to join our construction team. The Supervisor/Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Manage and schedule subcontractors and laborers
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with building codes
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports and documentation of changes
- Provide guidance and training to team members as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Supervisor/Supervisor in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Proficient in using construction management software such as Prolog, ProCore, or Primavera
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage time, resources, and budgets
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
