We are looking for an operations professional who thrives in a fast paced, team oriented, customer service environment. You will ensure that operational plans are executed, performance metrics are achieved and teams are well trained and led. You will have the ability to innovate and grow your skills exponentially through new experiences every day! 
 
About the position:
  • Work as a part of a close knit operational team of 3-5 members, led by our Senior Operations Manager, and help direct daily operations while engaging in frontline work when necessary
  • Ensures processes are implemented and maintained to manage team schedules, a fleet of 20 trucks and systems which support daily revenue in excess of $30,000, while hitting target metrics
  • Develops operations procedures and ensures effective and timely communication of processes and procedures. Implements additional training to support and achieve improved metrics and KPIs
  • Understand and help drive franchise profitability through achieving target metrics including wage percentage, disposal cost percentage and team customer reviews
  • Find the root causes of off track metrics and fix through training or process improvement
  • Lead, inspire, train and hold accountable a diverse frontline team of 50-100 members on a daily basis
  • Foster a safety culture through awareness, training and accountability. Monitor the maintenance and use of equipment by using checklists and observations as required.
  • Oversee warehouse organization and activity, ensuring safety, efficiency and maximum diversion and recycling 
  • Actively engage with large commercial customers including job estimates and negotiations. Work closely with the Commercial Account Team to pursue leads and win business
  • Maintain exceptional customer relations and act as the escalation point for customer and/or key vendor issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with disposal sites

Compensation:
  • $60-65,000 base plus eligible for monthly bonus based on financial performance

Requirements:
  • Four year degree
  • Minimum of five years of experience in operations
  • Two years of experience in leading teams
  • Track record of achievement and success demonstrated by achieving performance metrics
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
