What would this role do?

The Clinical Supervisor serves as a member of the clinical team providing support, guidance, direction, and supervision to assigned clinical staff. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible and accountable to provide services, oversee clinical programs, and monitor staff under his/her supervision.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Comply with all Mandated Reporting Laws and Regulations
  • Render a minimum of 100 billable hours a month in person or via telehealth when applicable
  • Meet billable standards as defined by the Supervisory Hours Standards policy
  • Assigned minimum of 120 billable hours a month (historical cancellation rate of ~20%)
  • Accountable for the submission of reports on-time
  • Assist with the development and establishment of the clinical services in the region
  • Provide BCBA supervision to PC’s and BCBA interns 
  • Ensure that the company's "Zero Tolerance Policy" is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region
  • Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act {HIPAA) compliance is understood, implemented and reinforced in the region
  • Ensure that the consumers under his/her supervision are receiving their billable services
  • Provide clinical consultation including behavior plans and programming to clinical staff
  • Provide parent and employee trainings as need it and approved
  • Provide written program summaries and progress reports for each individual case prior to deadlines indicated by your supervisor
  • Conduct staff meetings and professional development meetings as indicated
  • Provide feedback to Supervisor regarding instructors on each case.
  • Conduct assessments as assigned by your supervisor
  • Ensure that all hours are being provided to the families with few or no cancellations
  • Communicate parental concerns and needs immediately to your supervisor
  • Supervise and monitor assessments assigned from intake to completion
  • Conduct Report Review/Revisions Provide case consultation to PC's as needed
  • Direct Case Supervision- carry a case load to meet set billable services
  • Submit timesheets on time
  • timesheets are to contain parent/client signatures (to be obtained after every in­ person session with client). The only exception is for non-billable work or if approved by office director {to have di- rector's signature).
  • All parent/client signatures are to be collected and services rendered prior to the timesheet due date
  • Complete other duties as assigned and approved by your supervisor
  • Maintain telephone contact and a reliable method to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours
  • Maintain reliable transportation and current liability insurance for the vehicle
  • Stand, sit, twist, kneel, bend-over, crouch down, walk, & sit/play on floor for extended periods of time as well as lift, push, and pull up to 401bs without assistance from another adult

Must Haves 

  • A Master's degree 
  • Active BCBA Certification 
  • Excellent Clinical & Leadership skills 
  • 2 years clinical experience including: 
    • Direct service with individuals with varying diagnoses, diverse levels of functioning, and a broad range of ages 
    • Individual client program development across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings (i.e., home, school, community) 
  • Report writing 
  • Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies 
  • 1 years supervision experience including: 
  • Formal staff training including didactic and in-vivo 
  • Formal performance evaluation of more junior staff 
  • Evaluation of more junior staff with respect to clinical programming, administrative tasks (e.g., re- port writing, timesheet submission, etc.), direct therapy, and parent training skills 
  • Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs 
  • Familiarity with funding provider standards and guidelines 
  • Mastery of empirical evidence for all service types 
  • Self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, excellent time management skills & skills to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Have a professional demeanor, be well-organized, and pay attention to detail 
  • Demonstrate skills consistent with serving culturally and linguistically diverse families in low and high SES areas 
  • Maintain all applicable personal certifications, licenses, professional insurances, TB clearance, etc. up to date 
  • Possess his/her own Professional Liability Insurance and name the company as certificate holder 
  • Comfortable working in homes (studio apt, housing project, etc..) of families with limited resources 
  • Maintains professional boundaries, professional composure, work well under pressure and politely interact with individuals and families who may be uncooperative or aloof 
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills to interact with clients, family members, and agency's staff.
