Estimated Appointment End Date (Continuous if Blank) Full/Part-Time Part time Job Type Regular Compensation $41,200 Salary Job Description OK Transportation’s Student Engineer Intern Program This is the Engineer-in-Training level, where incumbents are students attending a university and working a minimum of 20 hours per week who perform a variety of routine engineering tasks in a training status under close supervision. Incumbents will perform basic engineering tasks such as the review of less complex plans, the performance of basic engineering calculations, the writing of permits, the performance of computer modeling, and the inspection of parts of an engineering project. Engineer Intern (Student) Requirements: Level I: • Enrolled in the Civil Engineering Undergraduate program at Oklahoma State University • Completed at least 30 credit hours toward a degree in Civil Engineering • Minimum 2.5 GPA • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours/week Level II: • Enrolled in the Civil Engineering Graduate program at Oklahoma State University • Completed a bachelor's degree in civil engineering • Minimum 2.5 GPA • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours/week Engineer Intern (Student) Salary Range: • Part Time $19.80 hourly, plus benefits package We believe our compensation, benefits package, and family balance are highly competitive.
