The Engineer will work with both maintenance and production to create and track metrics to highlight the most problematic systems in the plant. This individual will oversee root cause analysis and corrective actions for repetitive and/costly failures on critical production equipment at the Sylacauga site. The individual will be tasked with oversight of projects necessary for implementing long term solutions for problems identified. Key Responsibilities: Develop and track KPIs to identify bad actors in the plant. Establish criteria for when to start a structured problem solving exercise. Conduct root cause analysis on problematic equipment. Create, Edit and/or modify PMs to help find failures early enough to allow time for planning and scheduling of the work. Oversee our in house vibration program. Implement and oversee an oil analysis program. Implement and oversee new predictive maintenance technology as necessary.
