If you want to grow your skills and develop your career, find out more at www.imerys.com The PositionReliability Engineer Job Summary Based at our plant in Sylacauga, AL, Imerys is hiring a Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for the overall improvement of mechanical equipment uptime in the plant. The Engineer will work with both maintenance and production to create and track metrics to highlight the most problematic systems in the plant. This individual will oversee root cause analysis and corrective actions for repetitive and/costly failures on critical production equipment at the Sylacauga site. The individual will be tasked with oversight of projects necessary for implementing long term solutions for problems identified. Key Responsibilities: Develop and track KPIs to identify bad actors in the plant. Establish criteria for when to start a structured problem solving exercise. Conduct root cause analysis on problematic equipment. Create, Edit and/or modify PMs to help find failures early enough to allow time for planning and scheduling of the work. Oversee our in house vibration program. Implement and oversee an oil analysis program. Implement and oversee new predictive maintenance technology as necessary. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering, maintenance and operations teams, and work with vendors and contractors Ensure project timelines are is met and projects stays within budget familiarity with Project management and tools Scheduling meetings and updating status regularly Help maintaining Capital project approval process from start to finish developing and maintaining the budget Education & Experience: Prefer Maintenance reliability certifications CMRP, CMRT, CMM, CRE, MLT, CAT 1, 2 years of experience working in maintenance and/or engineering Firm grasp of maintenance and engineering concepts Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills Positive attitude and willingness to work hard to finish targets Prefer knowledge of motors, gearboxes, pumps, blowers, conveyors, dust collection, pneumatic conveying, etc. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability Position TypeFull time and Permanent Only technical issues will be monitored through the below inbox: recruiting.support@ imerys.com PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT RESUMES OR APPLICATIONS TO THIS EMAIL, AS THEY WILL NOT BE REVIEWED.
