3-Dimensional Services Group is currently seeking a Paint Manager for our Lapeer facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand customer requirements for the washing, heat treatment, masking, robotic painting and inspection of parts.
• Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for the wash, heat treatment and paint programs.
• Evaluate processes and facilitate training to drive continuous improvement within the department.

EDUCATION/SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:

• High School Degree or GED

EXPERIENCE:

• Technical background and a minimum of five years in painting manufactured automotive or aerospace parts.
• Experience painting aluminum parts.
• Experience in operating a robotic paint system. Experience on a Cefla spray booth would be a plus.
• Experience in masking parts and mixing paint.
• Experience with quality and inspection parameters applicable to painting parts.
• Excellent organizational & time management skills.
• Self-Motivated and able to perform clerical duties with minimal supervision.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
