Job Title
Registered Nurse (RN) - Chart Review, Adult Day Health Care
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in this role will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of medical charts in an Adult Day Health Care facility. The position focuses on maintaining high standards of care by reviewing medical records, assessing patient care plans, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Responsible for overall compliance of the nursing department including but not limited to chart review and should utilize tools such as the chart review form and nursing tracking spreadsheets. RN should communicate promptly and clearly between nursing department team members and program director/president.
Responsibilities:
1) Within the first 30days, RN will complete an pre-screening review and document in the "Notes" column if day center has completed necessary forms, but are pending for Plan of Care Team signatures. RN will also document in the "Notes" column any other items necessary to be in compliance.
2) RNwill complete an initial review and sign off within the first 60 days and will document any corrective action needed.
3) RN will complete a 6-month review and will document any corrective action needed.
4) RN will complete an annual review and will document any corrective action needed.
5) Other duties as assigned by Program Director.

Language and Communications Skills:
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to secure cooperation, interpret policies, exchange information, and provide professional judgments in continuous contact with management personnel, colleague managers and other employees, contacts with medical staffs, and representatives of outside agencies or groups, clients, families, vendors and public. Works with a range of adult clients of various ages with multiple types of health care needs. Ability to listen attentively and speak clearly and distinctly in receiving and responding to inquiries.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Active RN license in the state of KY. Training and certification in CPR, First Aid, and BLS and recertification as required. Annually each employee must have a PPD test or be determined to be free of symptoms-of tuberculosis if there was a previous positive PPD.
