Facilitate and support the organization, administer community events and activities across 2Life campuses. The Program Coordinator will be based out of 2Life’s Newton locations --Golda Meir and Leland House.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Program Implementation:
? Assist the Group Services Coordinators in the implementation and facilitation of events including holidays, cultural celebrations, lifelong learning activities and field trips
? Develop and implement new, ongoing programming
? Organize and host ‘pop up’ events to fill gaps in programming calendar
Resident Outreach and Support:
? Creating advertisements (physical and/or digital) to promote social events
? Escort residents to programs and assist with reminders and phone calls to residents
? Support resident volunteers
? Deliver materials to resident apartments
Information Organization:
? Input group programming data including attendance, calendar upkeep other data points into the Salesforce database
? Generate and share data reports with staff
? Organize and inventory program materials and supplies
? Research and upkeep of vendors list
Campus Support:
? Cover the front desk and/or managing visitors and phone calls
? Maintain community spaces- assist with decoration and cleaning of spaces
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Minimum of 2 years of program coordination or similar professional experience
Ability to be patient and polite, while working with older adult residents, volunteers, and community partners
Exceptionally detail-oriented, organized, highly productive, and adaptable
Ability to communicate effectively, take initiative, multi-task, and be flexible in managing the daily demands of a multi-faceted role
Proficient with MS Word and Excel, with aptitude for numbers and data entry
Familiarity with Canva or other online graphic design software is a plus
Must be a creative thinker and problem solver and be willing to work as an integral team member in a collaborative manner
Ability and willingness to travel between campuses as required
