Founded in 2005, 2K Games is a global video game company, publishing titles developed by some of the most influential game development studios in the world. Our studios responsible for developing 2K’s portfolio of world-class games across multiple platforms, include Visual Concepts, Firaxis, Hangar 13, CatDaddy, Cloud Chamber, and HB Studios. Our portfolio of titles is expanding due to our global strategic plan, building and acquiring exciting studios whose content continues to inspire all of us! 2K publishes titles in today’s most popular gaming genres, including sports, shooters, action, role-playing, strategy, casual, and family entertainment.

What You Will Do

• Supporting multiple internet service product teams delivering features to our customers
• Perform regular maintenance on platform infrastructure
• Work on infrastructure solutions for platform engineering teams
• Collaborate with engineering on software development lifecycle tools and practices

What you bring

• Proficient at managing cloud computing services with automation (AWS or GCP preferred)
• Competent with managing Kubernetes clusters
• Experience managing build systems and modern continuous integration practices
• Firm understanding of internet fundamentals such as CIDR, TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and common implementations
• Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• An attitude of achievement when our partners are successful
• B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent

Bonus items

• A passion for working in games
• Any level of Golang or JavaScript
• Jenkins or similar continuous deployment tools
• Capable with Git and ideally Perforce
• Linux shell scripting
