This is a full-time position, and MUST HAVE a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
The position is located in Laurel, MD. 
The US government (USG) provides the design, analysis, development, implementation and integration of secure and reliable computer applications and services that are essential to the Sponsor mission. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The Sponsor needs skills in concept development (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and execution while managing a moderate to heavy workload. The USG maintains a virtual machine infrastructure comprised of several virtual environments and virtual machines. This includes installing, upgrading, patching, and maintenance on hosts (hypervisors) that contain virtual machines, and any virtualization hardware and software necessary to operate and maintain the virtual infrastructure. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE 
The Candidate shall ensure, for the duration of the contract, that candidate personnel assigned to work under this contract maintain institutional knowledge and competency level necessary for all required skills, to include demonstrated on-the-job experience.

• Demonstrated experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) experience support multi-site environments
• Demonstrated experience with VMware Horizon VDI experience supporting a geographically disperse enterprise with a mix of persistent and instant clone desktops
• Demonstrated experience in creating Microsoft Windows golden images
• Demonstrated experience with HP thin clients and HP Device Manager (HPDM)
• Demonstrated experience VMware App Volume experience to include application capturing and trouble shooting
• Demonstrated experience with VMware Unified Access Gateway
• Demonstrated experience in capacity planning for geographically distributed enterprise level systems
• Demonstrated experience in converting customer requirements into a technical plan
• Demonstrated experience with the full life cycle of system development
• Demonstrated experience working with PKI certificates and keys
• Demonstrated experience with understanding features and administrative responsibilities for maintaining the health, scalability, manageability, and security for the Atlassian applications and plugins using Data Center
• Demonstrated experience knowing all aspects of project workflows, security, permission, fields, and notifications

Skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not required to perform the work include: 

• Demonstrated experience with basic understanding of network communications
• Demonstrated experience with basic understanding of enterprise storage technology, specifically Network Attached Storage (NAS) via Network File System (NFS)
• Demonstrated experience maintaining a VMware or Hyper-V infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience with basic understanding of Linux commands
• Demonstrated experience of basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
