An Instructional Design Certification is required for this position. 

This is a full-time position, and MUST HAVE a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance. An Instructional Design Certification is required for this position. 
2HB Incorporated is seeking a Instructional Designer in order to support its government customer in Chantilly, VA .
 

The US Government (USG) provides basic, advanced, leadership, and specialized tradecraft training to students around the world. The USG is responsible for designing activities, online tools, courses, and course materials for a community-wide client base. The USG designs, supports, and implements superior learning programs intended to foster greater understanding and cooperation across the organization and complimentary groups. 

The USG requires an integrated instructional design team that can coordinate across organizational boundaries to develop effective curriculum and learning experiences using instructional design skills and the incorporation of learning technology, multimedia, and video production. Learning solutions may include but are not limited to: research, analysis, design, development, implementation, support, and project management for online, blended, and face-to-face training. Design efforts will facilitate the USG's mission to support training.

Priorities will be managed by the USG's Project Manager (PM), Deputy PM, and GTM. The Candidates will interface directly with the USG's PM, Deputy PM, and GTM.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE 

  • Demonstrated experience working in a training environment 
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Demonstrated experience developing in-person training, job aids, presentation materials, WBTs, online training courses, or other learning solutions 
  • Demonstrated experience in research, content review, analysis, reporting, and knowledge management 
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing adult learning 
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating in multi-functional units and with content partners to create finished learning solutions 
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex application development problems 
  • Demonstrated experience providing advice and recommendations on product design 
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating considerations into design plans such as budgets, equipment, performance requirements, or legal issues including accessibility and privacy 
  • Demonstrated experience in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Experiential Adult Learning, Professional Adult Instruction, or closely related field 

Certification

  • Instructional Design Certification from an accredited institution 

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE 

  • Demonstrated experience with web-based collaboration and document management platforms; task management tools that provide browser-based access for team document libraries, calendars, task lists, alerts, and schedules such as SharePoint or other similar software products 
  • Experience in teaching or instructional delivery in a classroom environment 
  • Bachelor's Degree in field related to Instructional Design (incl. Education, Business, Science, Engineering, or Liberal Arts) from an accredited institution
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in field related to Instructional Design (incl. Education, Business, Science, Engineering, or Liberal Arts) from an accredited institution.
