2HB Incorporated is seeking a Data Scientist in order to support its government customer in Herndon, VA.
The job is to develop and communicate a wide range of strategic, highly complex graphics, computational models or tools, or written and oral assessments to internal and external customers. Conceive and prepare thorough, well-argued and authoritative tactical and strategic analytic products summarizing the methods and results of data analyses.
Other duties are to provide sophisticated briefings that clearly and concisely convey highly technical analytic projects. Provide accurate, timely, complex, and sophisticated data analysis in support of key sponsor objectives. The Contractor shall determine and employ the most appropriate research design for data collection and analysis. The Contractor shall acquire, process, and refine large or complex data sets from various sources; utilizing computer programming where necessary.
Skills and Experience Needed:
Demonstrated experience of appropriate analytic methods and methodological tools in one or more of the following areas: Applied mathematics, computer programming, visualization.
Demonstrated experience of collection methods, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of cloud service consumption and spend metrics, and of cloud vendor contract performance metrics.
Demonstrated experience of collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process.
Demonstrated experience leveraging multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions.
Demonstrated experience translating complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative in graphical, verbal, or written form.
Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and changing focus quickly as demands change.
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field.
Demonstrated experience working in the Sponsor’s domain.
Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor business operations and associated processes.
Demonstrated experience working with cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, or similar)
Demonstrated experience working in or with the Department of Defense.
Certifications: Quantitative field or Data Science related
