The Transport Paramedic is skilled in advanced life support and will function as primary or secondary caregiver to ensure that each patient receives treatment that is in accordance with all Transport policies and procedures. The Transport Paramedic is able to give a detailed report to Medical Control to ensure appropriate plan of care is ordered and carried out. The Transport Paramedic will be able to function as part of a team, assuming the lead role, to ensure safety of patients and staff. Works two (2) 24-hour shifts per week. Has a minimum of three years’ experience in 911/Critical Care or Emergency Medicine. Pediatric Emergency Room/ICU/PICU care preferred. Flight Experience a plus. Until all children are well.
