BrightStar Care in Lake County is looking for an experienced Nurse for our client. The ideal candidate should be able to work overnight (12 hours shifts) and weekends and should be located in the Fox Lake, Volo or Wauconda areas of Lake County or be willing to commute to that location (driving only). Nurses with good experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care are strongly preferred. Training will also be provided.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care in the patient’s home.

• Implement treatment and plan of care using sound judgment and critical thinking.

• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the care plan and nursing processes.

• Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the company policy, procedures, and protocols.

Registered Nurse (RN)Qualifications:

• An unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where care is provided

• Minimum of (1) yearnursing experience

• Excellent problem-solving skills and organizational and multi-tasking skills

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times

• Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, BLS CPR card, and an up-to-date TB skin test or Chest X-Ray

• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull

• Must be able to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds
