Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and update records as necessary
- Collect payments and process insurance claims
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
-Understand dental insurances and help patients understand how to utilize their benefits
-Learn how to explain dental procedures to provide post-op information and education for treatment diagnosed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is required
- Familiarity with dental software such as CurveHero is a plus
- Knowledge of dental terminology is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Team oriented with understanding of constant teaching and learning needs.
