Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygen levels

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Perform procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, and wound care

- Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results, such as CT scans and ophthalmology exams

- Provide emotional support to patients and their families

- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting

- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and documentation requirements

- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices

- Ability to quickly assess patient conditions and make sound clinical judgments

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team

- Experience in home care or assisted living settings is a plus

- Prior experience in emergency room (ER) nursing is preferred
