• Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
• Location: Spokane, WA 99202
• Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (22:00 - 06:30)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
• Job Type: Full-time, Contract (13 Weeks) with possible extension service

This position is mainly evening shift – a nurse who is willing to work evenings with an occasional day shift would be great.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing essential health care
• Performing routine examinations and assessments
• Providing social and recreational activities
• Assisting with personal care
• Administering medications and observing patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments
• Monitor patients throughout their treatment.
• Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs.
• Ensure that patients take their medication.
• Assist doctors and registered nurses.
• Liaise with patients' families.

Skills Required:

• Strong interpersonal skills that allow them to get to know their patients, build personal rapport, and establish trust to provide high-quality care while increasing patients’ enjoyment and comfort
• Initiative so they can make independent decisions when required and accept direction and requests from patients.
• Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently
• Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments
• Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs

Min 1 years of Proven experience as LTC and similar role

• BLS from AHA
• Active LPN License
• Must Be Fully Vaccinated
