We are currently seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team. In this role you will assist in full stack development on the ShadowSuite platform, including design, development, unit/QA testing, documentation, demos, etc. The ideal candidate will develop, modify, and maintain applications based on requirements provided by the product managers. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely. Job Responsibilities: Designs and/or codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools Maintains and modifies existing applications independently within a team environment Performs maintenance programming for existing version(s) Participates in the design of software modifications or enhancements Keeps the Manager and Team Architects apprised of any problems or schedule slips as soon as they are apparent May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics or technically related field or equivalent related work experience Technology proficiency in C#, Winforms, SQL (Oracle preferably), Microsoft Visual Studio Previous brokerage industry experience and business knowledge highly desirable Creative, self starter and ability to work independently Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical employees Ability to interface well with non-technical employees Strong analytical and problem solving skills #LI-EP1 #LI-Hybrid Disability Assistance We recognize that ensuring our long-term success means creating an environment where everyone is welcome, where everyone's strengths are valued and where everyone can perform at their best.
