21^st Century Janitorial provides complete and professional janitorial services to more than three million square feet of commercial and government office space daily. Our customer base includes High Profile buildings, Commercial Office Buildings, Military Facilities, Medical office buildings, and Retail stores, as well as, State and City Facilities.

Summary:

Janitorial Area Managers oversee the work of everyone in the janitorial department and ensure the entire janitorial staff is doing their job effectively. They oversee cleaning duties and ensure the office or establishment is clean and sanitary.

Duties:

Janitorial Managers are those who oversee and supervise the work of janitors, custodians and housekeeping personnel. They plan staff’s schedule and keep track of their attendance. They also create checklists that we sometimes see in the bathrooms, offices and malls, which are made up of duties to be done daily. Janitorial managers also coordinate all staff activities, train newly hired staff of their duties, responsibilities, and how to use the equipment or machines designed for cleaning and sanitation. In small organizations like a school or a small office, the janitorial manager may also perform some of the tasks that a janitor does, such as taking out the trash, sweeping the floors or cleaning bathrooms. They are also responsible for reporting broken equipments, buying cleaning tools, and keeping supplies in stock.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Janitorial Area Managers oversee the work of everyone in the janitorial department and ensure the entire janitorial staff is doing their job effectively. They oversee cleaning duties and ensure the office or establishment is clean and sanitary. They also have to report everything to the Operation manager daily.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Have a calendar weekly of work planned

2.Area managers have to do Inspections on every building 

3.Have the ability to move from one building to another

4.Have a high skill of communication with supervisor and employees

5.Report any issues with supervisor and employee 

6.Train new hires

7.Make sure employees are wearing uniform from 21st CJS

8.Do corrections on deficiencies

9.Report any complain to Operations manager 

10.Keep a track of budgeting

11.Have all supervisors trained for ehub app and make sure employees are clocking in and clocking out

12.Report timekeeping to operation manager
