Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers in the field. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in security systems, low voltage electrical systems, installation of audio/video and precision measuring instruments. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair security systems in residential and commercial settings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security systems, including low voltage components
- Perform repairs on security systems, cameras and equipment
- Analyze technical problems and develop solutions to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct field service visits to customer sites to address maintenance or repair needs
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone or via email
- Collaborate with the technical sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or recommending additional products or services
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while on job sites

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security systems and components
- Proficiency in working with Low voltage electrical systems
- Ability to analyze technical problems and develop effective solutions
- Experience in field service or customer support roles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for diagnostics and repairs
