Regional Architectural Manager – Automatic Doors
Overview Our CONFIDENTIAL client is a leading supplier of entrance automation solutions for efficient flow of goods and people. They offer complete pedestrian, industrial and high-performance door solutions.
As a Regional Architectural Manager (RAM) you will work with architects to provide them with the most sophisticated specifications and architectural solutions in the industry. This position requires a high activity level, knowledge of the architectural process in construction, and a personal drive to grow the business. The role will also encompass presenting the company’s Entrance System’s complete line of Door Automation solutions and client specific service programs.
Role & Responsibilities • Become a trusted advisor to all architects in the territory. • Drive specification volumes and speed our innovations to the market. • Assist in the creation and implementation of the business unit’s strategy and programs. • Work seamlessly with our sales and operations groups as a team. • Cultivate consulting relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers. • Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications. • Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services. • Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool. • Working knowledge of Autodesk® Revit® or GRAPHISOFT® Archicad® is a plus. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.
Experience and Qualifications • 10 years’ experience selling and working in the sales or architectural field. • Demonstrated knowledge of the design and construction markets. • Customer focused and the ability to develop and maintain relationships. • Action oriented focused on driving for results. • Construction and design industry organization membership. • Ability to travel.
Compensation & Location This position will be located in either Houston or Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that will include a base salary, performance bonus, monthly auto allowance, and comprehensive benefits.
