Position Description: Retail Social Marketing Strategist The Marketing Strategist’s responsibility is to simplify marketing and other related projects or processes by providing HC managers, RVPs, and ZVPs with a single point of contact. The Marketing Strategist takes responsibility for more complex tasks within the department, and they work independently on all Marketing Coordinator level tasks while helping coach and advise Marketing Coordinators on defined retail marketing procedures. The Strategist fosters collaboration between the field, home office teams, and 3rd party vendors. They support the business’s growth with marketing campaign execution and influence the customer experience in the physical and digital retail space. This is achieved by managing local media, point of purchase development, website support, the creation of sales tools, creating communications and training for current retail marketing initiatives, and managing the rebranding and remodeling of all Retail Home Centers. The Retail Marketing Strategist reports to the VP of Retail Marketing. Responsibilities: Home Center Remodels- Gather information on Home Center layout, coordinate solutions and proposals and ensure accurate and timely completion of project Marketing Promotions & Planning - Create and Execute national, regional and local promotions, ensure all work is reviewed and approved by legal compliance and create all needed assets for campaign execution Sales Contests - Collaborate with Zone Leadership to create incentives to motivate sales teams, handle all HC questions and disputes of inaccurate point calculations and coordinate fulfillment of prizes and appropriate taxes with accounting and payroll departments Develop Materials to Assist Sales & Support Company Initiatives - Develop communications materials on upcoming sales & promotions, create new point of sale resources, develop training materials for new marketing initiatives and update Marketing SharePoint site, LINK, and maintain monthly marketing newsletter Coach and Assist Retail Field in Marketing Best Practices – Partner with VP of Marketing, senior leadership and the training organization to identify Retail Marketing training opportunities. Develop presentations and resources needed to facilitate training while supporting and aligning with training teams in the field. Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: Works well in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with changing priorities Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, or related field 4 years of marketing experience preferred Enhanced verbal and written communication skills Strong understanding of traditional, digital, and social media marketing tactics Highly competent in Excel, PowerPoint and Canva Interpersonal skills with ability to be solutions-oriented Self-starter with strong desire to learn Problem solving skills with ability to analyze data to determine the appropriate action You will find much more information by visiting our website at: www.claytonhomes.com Why Clayton?
