The Work
The F B Supervisor has the key role of delivering 1UP’s Legendary Hospitality. In addition to having impeccable experience in food and beverage operations and supreme people and customer service skills, you will have responsibilities including:
Operations
Refining and leading to ensure that the environment is clean, safe, and in good repair for employees and guests exceeding health and sanitation regulations
Establishing and exceeding all key metrics including cost of goods, labor % goals, and KPIs set by management
Oversight and direct responsibility for bar processes and procedures:
Inventory Management protocols and Purchasing Standards
Implement and evolve 1UP VIP Loyalty and Selling programs
Appropriately involves and/or resolves MoD of any potential employee issues or guest concerns
Assesses guest demeanor and follow alcohol awareness procedures, promptly reporting any concerning
behavior to management
Open and close responsibilities
Supervisory
Supervise F B operations, while holding self and teams accountable to company standards and the non-negotiable outcome of an AMAZING guest experience
Co-lead in attracting, hiring, training, and retaining top talent for all restaurant operations
Setting and managing optimal staffing levels and scheduling
Creating and leading new hire and on-going training programs to ensure all team members have the knowledge and resources to perform at a high level
Demonstrate effective communication, conflict and incident resolution
Continual assessment of employee’s work experience and performance through check ins and proactively addressing employee concerns in a timely manner
The Requirements
Proven track record in bar operations
Mastery of F B responsibilities with at least 3 years supervisory experience
Creativity with ability to infuse new ideas while taking direction
Bartender Experience and willingness to roll up sleeves as needed behind the bar at any time
Team player
Experience working in a high-volume, fast paced restaurant/bar
Ability to account for and manage controllable line items, analyze and provide input on cost saving measures, proper execution, and efficient output
Physical demands* include but are not limited to:
Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for several hours at a time
Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, reach, mop, sweep, and kneel and have the ability to lift bus tubs, glass racks and trays frequently weighing up to 25-50 pounds
Work conditions with both hot and cold temperatures
Must be Age 21 or older to apply
Has or ability to obtain all required food service licenses or certifications
