1stHomeCareSolutions is Hiring a PCA/Caregiver Near Wake Forest, NC

Job Summary:

Monday-Thursday from 9am-1pm in Wake Forest Area and some overnights.

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those they serve.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Support individuals with autism, seniors, or those in hospice care
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving, social work, or related field
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, children, and individuals with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Understanding of hospice care principles

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.68 - $20.09 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
