1st Transportation is hiring for summer 2024 and the 2024/2025 school year! We are looking for experienced (2 year minimum) Bus drivers with active P & S endorsements

Responsibilities and Duties

• The School Bus Driver is responsible for the safe transport of students to and from designated locations.
• The driver must perform daily pre & post trip inspections
• The driver is responsible for thoroughly maintaining a clean and orderly bus daily, which includes sweeping, sanitizing, cleaning the interior of the bus

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:

1) Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid NJ drivers license

2) Must have a driving record "in good standing" for the last 3 years (via driver's abstract) as a school bus driver

3) Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and physical, as well as a criminal background check

Job Type: Part Time - $30 per hour - Guaranteed 4 hours per day (when school is in session)

Pay: $30 per hour
