Growing civil & environmental engineering company has an immediate opening for a Hydrogeologist. Direct hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

• Perform data analysis and interpretation – including geospatial and statistical analysis, groundwater flow and contaminant fate, and transport modeling
• Perform soil boring logging – including soil classification and sample collection
• Provide oversight, direction, and documentation during installation of groundwater monitoring wells and water supply wells
• Install, utilize, and maintain instrumentation (includes pressure transducers, pumps, water level meters, water quality meters, etc.)
• Conduct sampling of various environmental media (soil, groundwater, surface water, soil gas, solid waste, etc.)
• Conduct GPS surveying and staking
• Prepare written technical reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or similar discipline
• 2 years of experience in hydrogeology/environmental services
• Familiarity with modeling and analysis programs such as AQTESOLV and MODFLOW preferred
• Experience with groundwater monitoring system design and data analysis a plus
• GIS software and mapping applications preferred
• Clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle as necessary
• Ability to travel throughout Minnesota and other midwestern states on occasion
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
