- Prefer a CPA, BS/BA Degree in Accounting/Finance with 5 plus years of experience with general ledger, financial modeling scenarios, and the ability to understand management’s business plan and assumptions regarding the range of possible future rate conditions.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prefer experience in performing cost analysis of financial products and services.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and knowledge of Credit Union philosophy, operations, regulations, practices, policies and procedures.
- Must be able to close credit union books on a monthly basis.
- Must be a team player, have excellent verbal/written communication skills with strong managerial and interpersonal skills. Proven ability and willingness to train other staff as required.
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision with previous experience demonstrating the ability to take ownership of responsibilities and drive the department successfully.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient knowledge of standard office equipment, Microsoft Office and ALM software.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to lift 50 lbs.
