Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the lead teacher to support the educational and developmental needs of our students. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in the field of education.

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
- Assist with behavior management and discipline as needed
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times
- Support students with special needs or learning challenges
- Provide assistance with administrative tasks as assigned

Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom, preschool, daycare, or babysitting setting
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of age-appropriate educational practices
- Experience working with students of various ages, from toddlers to school-aged children
- First aid certification is a plus

Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience and empathy when working with children who may have diverse needs or challenges
- Organizational skills to assist with classroom management and preparation of materials
- Ability to follow directions from the lead teacher and work collaboratively as part of a team
