Job Summary
- Location: On-site 5 days/week in Merrillville, IN
- Industry: Heavy Industry, Metals, Chemical/Petrochemical or Environmental
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor electrical staff
- Coordinate with other disciplines
- Conduct field investigations
- Manage multiple projects
- Work on a variety of project types
- Meet with clients and prepare proposals
- Oversee project installation and budget
- Ensure safety and compliance with company policies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of relevant work experience in the industrial sector
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
- Working knowledge of NEC, IEC, ISA & IEEE design standards
- AutoCAD and/or Revit skills preferred
- Specification writing skills required
- Management experience of an electrical engineering group preferred
- Arc-flash study experience a plus
- Ability to safely traverse construction sites
