Flower Merchandiser/Processor needed at busy flower shop in west Phoenix.

We are looking for both full time and part time. Part time hours would be between 15-30 hours a week, while full time is 35-40 hours per week with overtime during busy seasons (Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, Valentine's Day, and Mothers Day.) Availability during weekends is a plus. $15 an hour to start.

This applicant must be hard working and able to lift/push/pull 40 lbs. This is a job that will keep you busy and we are looking for someone that is able to be a team player, organized, clean, friendly, and reliable. Being able to prioritize and work efficiently is a must.

Duties include:

• Flower intake and care- making sure shipment is correct, chopping and organizing shipment (cleaning flowers, putting them in water and putting them in correct areas in the cooler).
• Keeping flower cooler organized and clean
• Throwing out bad/old flowers
• Shop keep up: cleaning buckets, moping, sweeping, taking out trash, stocking vases and supplies
• Inventory: keeping track of hard-goods and notifying management if something is running low or needs to be ordered.

If you are looking to stand around and be on your cell phone, this is not the job for you. Part time schedule is great for college students, taking time off during summer time is no problem- to travel or go home. Full time schedule is typically M-F, weekends only during busy season. Our store is open M-F 7-430 and weekends 7-2.
