State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is seeking a Global Process owner of Client Onboarding with institutional client experience, who can excel in a fast-paced environment while working cohesively across business teams. As a Global Process owner of Client Onboarding within SSGA’s Client Coverage Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire onboarding life-cycle achieving a best in class onboarding experience. Enhancing the way we onboard clients, identifying new technologies and implementing best practices globally. You will be required to influence colleagues across the business to adapt to new methods and technologies as they are introduced. To be successful, you will need to have a thorough understanding of SSGA’s infrastructure and operational capabilities. The ability to influence and lead virtually will be critical due to the complex and continually evolving client relationships and goals. Your success will be dependent on your ability to be agile and develop collaborative relationships across our sales, legal, operations, compliance, investment, product, billing as well as other internal teams. As SSGA invests in technology you will be immersed in our efforts toward automation, efficiencies and creative thinking to achieve better ways of interacting with our clients and each other. This role is part of the Client Coverage Group and you will report to the Head of Global Sales Infrastructure in Boston. This role can be located in either Boston or London. As the Client Onboarding Global Process owner you will: Implement and evolve our global onboarding framework with all colleagues involved in the client onboarding lifecycle Develop training guides for new Onboarding Managers and Subject Matter Experts involved in onboarding processes Work across SSGA to create a best in class client onboarding experience Instill importance of client experience and business objectives across organization ensuring teams are focused and aligned to importance of client onboarding experience Ensure a consistent global operating model while realizing there are regional and county nuances Manage all Audit Requirements and implement changes based on findings Manage all process improvement and technology enhancement initiatives Develop and ensure accurate management reporting These skills will help you succeed in this role Strong leadership skills with ability to manage/influence stakeholders and senior leaders Significant knowledge of the institutional asset management industry The ability to think strategically while tactically executing and challenging the status quo Proven experience in navigating complex organizations and partnering with individuals at all levels to Demonstrated analytical skills and thoughtful approaches to tasks and new situations Effective project leadership across multiple working groups Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands full compliance with policies and procedures Outstanding attention to detail, extremely accurate and well organized A fluid mindset towards technology so as to successfully use and adapt to multiple existing and new systems Superb verbal and written communication skills A willingness to learn, collaborate and take on additional responsibilities A positive, can-do attitude that motivates and inspires others Capacity for differentiated thinking, acute attention to details and ability to challenge the status quo in order to drive optimal outcomes Self-motivated, consultative mindset, ethical thinking, adapt to change and multi-task, strong people management, project management, analytical thinking, problem solving, research, time management, and verbal and written communication skills in English language High Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Understanding of Salesforce and Appian a plus Education and experience requirements Graduate or above Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance / Asset Management Industry Exposure to project management and client onboarding a plus Strong leadership traits and ability to manage virtually across a wide variety of teams Exposure to working in similar Sales organizations, working with institutional clients and understanding of various channels a plus Are you the right candidate?
