This position's responsibility is to actively manage flow of materials to the facility. The position will work within a multifunctional team and will be the first contact for Logistics on any ordering, planning and logistical issues related to direct ordered material. Managing daily operational demand, ensuring requirements are communicated to suppliers and providing input for annual forecasts. Supply chain monitoring on a day-to-day basis and regular contact with suppliers. Your working environment: The Procurement team's mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and contributing to the overall competitiveness of the company. Your challenges: Placing purchase orders according to the commodity. Identify and evaluate disturbances in Supply chain and improve related processes. Ensure contract terms with suppliers are being met. • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing philosophies and techniques • Perform material planning and ordering for free stock, flying consumables and safety stock • Track and trace the physical position and status of material and material delivery units • Coordinate reassignment of Aircraft parts, including the corresponding documentation • Support operations on rework/concession parts supply. Manage inventory and order management with suppliers. Ensure outsourced parts are delivered on time, cost and quality. Organize return of parts as needed, process and approve invoices for Accounting on direct ordered material. • Focal point for logistic service provider and supplier on-site support. • Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Information Systems Your boarding pass: Education: Required: Combination of experience or degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management Experience: Required: Combination of experience or degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: ● Strong analytical skills ● Detailed knowledge of common applications ie.
