Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
Effectively use systems and processes applicable to the warehouse operation.
Prepare and complete orders for receipt, delivery or pickup according to schedule.
Maintain quality service by accurately and diligently following set processes and company standards.
Complete all documentation and electronic data updates as required.
Prepare and package units for shipment as required.
Assist with other duties within the department and/or other workstations/departments when necessary.
Work individually or within small groups as required.
Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Ensure the proper hand off is given to the following shift.
Comply with departmental SLA’s, explain variances where appropriate.
Work at or above established productivity standards.
Complete clean-up responsibilities and maintain work areas.
Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in Safety Programs, initiatives, and investigations.
Perform other duties deemed necessary to support the company’s business operations.
Assist with shipping and receiving duties, loading/unloading trucks & checking in merchandise.
Apply case labels to inbound cases.
Manually load & unload inbound cases and pallets for processing.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
Assist in counting of physical inventory.
Scan product in using RF scanning equipment.
Remove all empty pallets and other waste from trailer and stage at appropriate location.
Perform duties while exercising proper lifting and material handling techniques.
Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
Ensure that orders are accurate and stage items correctly for delivery.
Put reserved product away in the correct spot.
Monitor stock processes for specific orders.
Pack warehouse orders.
Ship product per instructions and established processes.
Ensure warehouse goals are met.
Take product away to specified warehouse locations as assigned by the WMS system.
Take product and combine it will another group at a location where appropriate.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain flexible to change, and willing to move around to other areas.

Can demonstrate knowledge in functional department.
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to ask questions to gain a clear understanding of instructions and processes
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work through problems in a team-centered environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Standard operating procedures and operating instructions.
Ability to work safely around mechanical equipment.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours a day, ability to squat, kneel, twist and bend.
Flexibility to be cross trained in different departments.
Strong attendance record, work ethic, and safety record.
Flexibility for mandated overtime.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasks.
Ability to identify and communicate basic process improvements.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to follow directions and make decisions on imperfect information.
Steel-toed shoes are required for working in this position.
Regular production/warehouse environment (no air conditioning).
