11th Hour Staffing, Inc is Hiring an Overnight Machine Operator Near Vandalia, OH

Immediate opening for an Overnight Machine Operator in the Vandalia, Ohio area! * The work schedule for this role will begin as a rotating schedule, 6:00PM-6:00AM & will change to a Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:00PM schedule with overtime required as needed after 1-2 months. Who We Are

We are positioned to be your one-stop staffing resource for all your hiring & employment needs from entry-level to executive, spanning across all industries. Responsibilities:

Ability to set up machines with the needed materials. Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
Inspect and pack manufactured products in an efficient manner with regards to quality standards.
Perform basic manufacturing processes by operating contingent line equipment.
Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions including Work Orders, Specification Sheets, and Production Reporting.
Fully understand that working overtime is a condition of employment.
Will follow Company personnel and product safety requirements including standards such as those from SQF and internal GMPs.
Must follow proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with State and Federal laws.
Additional duties may be deemed necessary by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 years of experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment required.
Prior machine operation experience preferred.
Prior experience with quality processes and measurement devices preferred.
Remain continuously within the normal work area, except for formal break times.
Position requires regular, predictable, and punctual attendance and ability to work overtime as required, including weekends.
Wear OSHA approved personal protective equipment (PPE) where required by Company policy or where necessary as dictated by safe practice.
Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
Requires exposure to machines and chemicals.
Requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and a normal range of hearing and vision (with or without correction)
