11th Hour Staffing, Inc is Hiring an Industrial Mechanic Near Vandalia, OH
- Be knowledgeable on all equipment on lines to be able to set up, adjust, repair, operate, and maintain within a proficient time frame
- Be knowledgeable and proficient in adjustment and repair of all line support equipment; such as tape machines, strappers, stretch wrappers, jet printers, conveyors, cover up machines, labelers, etc.
- Check quality of units being produced and take remedial action to correct any quality problems
- Recommend any necessary repairs or improvements to equipment
- Work with Machine Shop personnel on major breakdowns and overhaul work
- Train operators and apprentices when needed
- Complete all necessary QC forms, work orders and reports in an accurate and complete manner
- Follow proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with State and Federal laws
- Other duties as assigned
- One year certificate from a college or technical school: or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have completed journeyman training requirement as required by the Company or similar training elsewhere.
- Must possess a valid State issued driver’s license.
- Must be certified in CPR; basic first aid and fully trained in Lockout Tagout requirements.
- Ability to read in English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees in the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
