We are positioned to be your one-stop staffing resource for all your hiring & employment needs from entry-level to executive, spanning across all industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Verifies and reseals boxes, if necessary.
- Load up product for each order onto skids
- Use hand bander & robo wrap machinery to prep product properly to be sent out.
- Fastens plastic or metal bands around product and/or shrink wraps as needed.
- Properly labels completed order for shipping.
- Performs any other duties related to the position as directed by the Distribution Manager or Shipping Lead.
- Maintain and safe and clean working environment
- To perform the essential functions of this job, the ability to be trained upon and then safely & effectively operate the following equipment, required: Tape measure, pallet jack, hand truck, plastic & metal band strapper, barcode scan gun, forklift
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 year of forklift operating experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently without assistance.
- Ability to read and understand order releases.
- Must be able to work independently while multi-tasking.
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (safety glasses, closed toe/closed heel shoes)
- Ability to hear to distinguish sounds, such as buzzers and forklift horns, truck backup warnings
