11th Hour Service is Hiring an Echo Vascular Technologist Near Lorton, VA
Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostic echocardiograms, carotids, abdominal aorta screenings, ABI and arterial studies of upper and lower extremities of patients with suspected peripheral vascular disease by following ICAEL and ICAVL guidelines and in accordance with the echo/vascular laboratory protocols.
Produce two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of the heart and related structures.
Ensure that all ECHO and vascular laboratory studies are scheduled in an appropriate manner to satisfy the clinical situation
Communicates with physicians, managers and coworkers, as appropriate, about changes in patients' clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram or vascular studies.
Requirements:
Must possess a minimum of two years of experience in an Echo/Vascular Laboratory.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program or five years of directly relevant on the job training
Must have ARDMS with RVT; CCI with the RVS Certification for Vascular; or Registry eligible - If not RVT upon start, *must obtain within 2 years of hire*.
Must have Basic Life Support certification upon hire through American Heart Association.
