You will assist members with the Child Care Fund registration application, programs selection, and counseling on Child Care Fund services.
Temporary Assignment from August 2024 through December 2024. Day Shift hours include full-time Monday to Friday with some evenings, and Saturdays; limited fieldwork required.
Responsibilities
·Register eligible 1199SEIU Child Care Fund members for childcare benefits in person, online and virtually
·Perform data entry of member applications, and program information, reaching daily quotas stipulated by management
·Manage high volume phone calls and emails
·Editing submitted applications with data entered in our system
·Complete a three-week training to effectively council members on Child Care Fund services and program selections; interpret eligibility and application guidelines
·Maintains accurate files, records, and confidentiality
·Travel to select field locations within the metropolitan area
·Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
·High school diploma required, some college or degree a plus
·Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in an office environment.
·Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
·Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel desirable and navigation of web-base applications
·Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Creole, French, Mandarin, etc.).
·Must have professional work ethics and adhere to attendance and punctuality policy
